Job Vacancy: Painter

We are looking for an experienced and creative Painter to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work and have a good eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
• Mix paint, including enamels and lacquers, according to color charts or specific instructions.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
• Measure and cut trim and molding to size with a handsaw or power saw.
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages to gain access to difficult areas.
• Clean walls to ensure proper adherence of paint by washing with soap and water or other agents as necessary.
• Operate airless spray guns, brushes, rollers etc., to apply paints, stains and varnishes on interior/exterior surfaces of buildings/furniture etc.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter
• Knowledge of painting material (paints, primers etc.)
• Ability to mix colors accurately using the color wheel
• Attention to detail when carrying out tasks

Salary: 1400 QAR per month (plus overtime)
