The successful candidate will be responsible for using professional surveying technology to measure, map, and analyze land boundaries, elevations, and features. Duties may also include participating in the layout of residential subdivisions, commercial buildings, roads, and other projects; detecting physical evidence of boundary lines; preparing topographical maps; plotting aerial photographs; using global positioning systems (GPS); and performing other related tasks as required.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized with excellent attention to detail; possess strong problem-solving skills; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team; and be knowledgeable with technology such as AutoCAD, GIS systems, GPS equipment, etc.
