Job Description:
• Preparing patients for dental treatment procedures, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments
• Assisting dentists during procedures, including taking x-rays and impressions
• Maintaining dental equipment and supplies in the office by ordering and stocking materials as needed
• Educating patients on dental health care topics such as proper brushing techniques and nutrition advice
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree or professional certification as a dental assistant
• At least 1 year experience working as a dental assistant or similar role in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards regarding patient privacy, infection control, safety protocols, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
