Merchandiser – Sharjah

We are looking for an organized and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchandising, be well-spoken and have a high level of customer service. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in merchandising or sales.
• Knowledge of retail products, trends, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Description:
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities for our products across all channels of distribution. You will work closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, operations, etc., to ensure that all merchandising plans are successfully implemented and monitored regularly according to company standards. Your duties include researching current market trends; designing displays; creating product catalogs; analyzing sales data; recommending pricing changes; overseeing inventory management; negotiating contracts with vendors; preparing reports for senior management review; providing customer service support when needed; attending trade shows and industry events; and staying up-to-date on new products/trends in the industry.
