Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Librarian to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the library’s resources, cataloging new materials, and providing customer service to library patrons.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Cataloging library materials using appropriate software
• Providing reference assistance to patrons
• Maintaining accurate records of all books and other materials in the library’s collection
• Responding to requests for information from patrons
• Developing a budget and managing expenditures related to library operations
• Training volunteers in library procedures and policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for all patrons
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner
