Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The role offers a salary of 1700 and we are ready to consider an immigrant for the position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library, providing customer service, organizing and maintaining library material, and helping customers find what they’re looking for. This position is ideal for someone with no prior experience as training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:
• Cataloging new materials and updating existing records
• Enforcing library policies
• Assisting customers with requests and research
• Updating library website or other online resources
• Helping to organize library events such as book clubs or author visits
• Providing guidance on accessing digital resources such as databases or online journals
• Supporting the development of collections in line with customer needs


The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They must also have excellent knowledge of current technology trends including computers, tablets, e-readers etc. Experience in customer service is preferred but not essential.
