Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional mental health care to patients. You will diagnose and treat mental illnesses, disorders, and diseases based on patient interviews and assessments. You will also develop treatment plans for clients and ensure they are adhered to. Additionally, you will provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals regarding diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of psychological theories and be able to make sound clinical judgments. We are open to considering foreign candidates with minimal experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mental health conditions using patient interviews, tests, and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients with goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound
• Monitor progress of patients’ treatments through regular follow-ups
• Provide psychotherapy services such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), or family therapy
• Ensure that all treatments conform to ethical standards and relevant regulations
• Consult other healthcare professionals when needed regarding diagnosis or treatment plans

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field required
• Licensed Psychiatrist with minimal work experience preferred
• Knowledge of psychological theories and practices
• Strong understanding of diagnostic criteria for mental health conditions
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
