Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: 1800 AED per month

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and an eye for detail. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization
• Maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts, making entries into accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Preparing budget reports and comparing the actual results with the budgeted figures
• Overseeing other bookkeeping staff and providing guidance on various accounting procedures and techniques
• Developing and implementing accounting policies to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Performing month-end closing activities such as reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and other processes to ensure timely completion of monthly close process
• Assisting with internal audits by gathering required documents as well as preparing requested schedules for review
• Responding to inquiries from internal departments or external agencies regarding financial results or special reporting requests

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in accountancy or a related field (we are also willing to consider candidates with no experience)
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards is required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required
