Job Title: Librarian
Salary: 1200 KD
Location: Al-Kuwait
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing library collections, providing access to library resources, and providing research assistance to patrons. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, organize, and maintain the library collection
• Provide efficient reference services to patrons
• Manage the circulation of library materials including check-in/check-out procedures
• Respond to patron requests for information in person, by phone or via email
• Assist with the digitization of library materials as needed
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures
• Create displays for new books or book promotions
• Collaborate with other departments on special projects or events
• Assist in training staff on cataloging procedures and other duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required • Previous experience working in a library preferred but not required • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required • Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) preferred • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite required
