Job Title: Accountant
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 1700

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and certified Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in accounting or related fields.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial reports on a monthly basis including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and other relevant documents
• Monitor all accounts payable/receivable activities ensuring accuracy of information
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including filing of returns
• Reconcile bank statements and conduct regular audits for accuracy
• Maintain proper books of accounts and supporting financial documents
• Act as point of contact for external auditors as well as other business partners

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least two years’ experience in accounting or related field is required
• Knowledgeable in UAE tax law is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
