Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles such as cars, SUVs, and trucks
• Install new wiring systems or replace existing ones in vehicles
• Test continuity of circuits using electrical testing equipment like multimeters
• Locate shorts or malfunctions in wiring systems
• Analyze electrical diagrams and schematics to determine work needed on vehicles
• Troubleshoot complex problems with electronic systems such as ABS brakes, airbags, etc.
• Inspect vehicle components to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations
• Repair or replace faulty components using specialized tools and equipment

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; Associate’s degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience as an auto electrician required
• Knowledge of automotive wiring systems essential
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment necessary
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics for repair work desired
