We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing our library resources, as well as providing reference services and customer service.

The responsibilities of the librarian include, but are not limited to, cataloguing and managing library resources; providing reference services to patrons; creating and maintaining a welcoming environment; creating displays of library materials; helping patrons with locating information; supervising library staff; and ensuring the library is well maintained.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational abilities. Knowledge of cataloguing systems is also essential. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as be able to work cooperatively with other librarians and staff members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience who is looking to begin their career in librarianship. We are open to considering an immigrant for this position.
