Position Title: Electrician
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
Salary: AED 1100

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Electrician to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components in residential and commercial establishments.

Responsibilities:
• Install new electrical systems, fixtures, and accessories in accordance with local codes and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair faulty electrical systems including switches, outlets, transformers, fuses, and other components.
• Test electrical systems and components for continuity, current flow, voltage drops to ensure the proper functioning of the system.
• Inspect wiring for proper connections and adherence to national codes
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning of electrical panels or replacing parts when needed.
• Troubleshoot problems with existing equipment or installations with minimal disruption to the customer’s operations.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of a system or its components.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of national electric codes/standards as well as local regulations is essential.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors regarding work assignments or changes in daily activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems under tight deadlines while working independently or as part of a team is necessary.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving skills along with manual dexterity and technical aptitude for understanding complex diagrams/schematics quickly and accurately.
