Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from one place to another. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000 QAR/month. We are also willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Job Responsibilities
• Drive trucks that typically weigh more than 26,000 pounds to transport goods and materials to specific destinations
• Monitor road conditions, vehicle performance, and other factors that may affect safety or delivery times
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, industry practices, and company policies
• Load and unload cargo from trucks as needed
• Maintain accurate records (e.g., log books) of vehicle repairs, miles driven, fuel purchases, or other important activities

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required
• 2+ years of truck driving experience in Qatar is preferred
• Knowledge of applicable Qatar traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent driving skills; ability to safely maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and on narrow roads
• Ability to lift heavy objects as needed; good physical fitness is a must
• Ability to read maps; strong problem-solving skills
