Psychiatrist Job in Doha

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500 QAR per month and is open to both immigrants and locals alike.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Doctoral degree in Psychiatry from an accredited university
• Licensed to practice as a Psychiatrist in Qatar or able to acquire one quickly
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a psychiatrist, ideally in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Knowledgeable about current best practices in psychiatric care.

Job Description:
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing mental health disorders; creating treatment plans; carrying out psychotherapy (individual, family or group) sessions; conducting medical examinations; prescribing medication when necessary; providing education on mental health issues to patients and their families; keeping up with current developments in psychiatry; documenting patient information into medical records; maintaining effective communication between patients, families, support staff, other medical professionals etc. The Psychiatrist should be comfortable working with diverse patient populations.
