Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth for various projects. You will need to work accurately and safely to ensure that the job is completed on time and with minimal disruption. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of machinery operations as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently in line with company standards
• Prepare the machine for various jobs by checking oil levels, fuel levels, hydraulic pressures etc.
• Work with other machines like dozers, loaders, graders etc. when needed
• Maintain daily logs of machinery performance
• Load or unload materials from the excavator when required
• Follow safety protocols at all times and report any unsafe working conditions or practices immediately
• Assist with other tasks such as digging trenches, clearing debris etc. when needed

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators (2+ years preferred)
• Good knowledge of different types of earthmoving equipment and tools
• Ability to read blueprints/site plans effectively
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
