Excavator Operator - Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators to move earth and other materials in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with excavators.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators in a safe and efficient manner in line with health and safety regulations.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on the excavator as needed.
• Dig trenches, holes, foundations, and slopes for construction projects as instructed.
• Adhere to the assigned project timeline and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
• Monitor the surrounding area to ensure that no damage is done to existing structures or underground utilities during excavation works.
• Load materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles when required.
• Follow instructions from the supervisor regarding excavation project objectives and requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience operating excavators.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team when required.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols when operating heavy machinery such as excavators.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past 3 years is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
