Optometrist Job in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of 1000 AED. We are open to considering applicants from overseas. No experience is required for this role.

Job Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent
• Good knowledge of medical instruments and equipment used in optometry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to comply with safety protocols set out by the organization
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, examine, treat, and manage patients with eye disorders using medical instruments and equipment such as lenses, ophthalmoscopes, and refractors
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses according to patient needs
• Perform laser eye surgery when needed • Consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary regarding patient care plans or treatments • Ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date according to established regulations • Monitor patient progress over time • Educate patients about their eye health and provide lifestyle advice accordingly • Assist with administrative duties such as filing paperwork for insurance claims or entering information into electronic health records systems.
