Job Summary

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team at the Abu-Dhabi library. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing library collections, providing reference services, and helping patrons find the materials they need. The position offers a salary of 1700 and we are willing to consider an immigrant.

Requirements for the Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or relevant field
• Knowledge of library systems, classification systems, information retrieval and cataloguing principles
• Knowledge of library software, web applications, databases and online resources
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills with the ability to handle patron inquiries respectfully and efficiently
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in English
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred but not required
