Librarian job in Sharjah UAE for foreigners


We are looking for an experienced or inexperienced librarian to join our team in Sharjah. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop and hone their skills in a friendly and supportive work environment.

The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of classification systems, cataloguing and bibliographic resources. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. In addition, you should possess strong organisational ability, along with the capacity to work independently.

The key role of this position will be to provide library services in line with established standards and policies. This will include maintaining library collections, organising material into appropriate categories and providing access to library resources through various means. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the circulation of materials, as well as providing reference assistance to patrons of the library.

We are offering a salary of 1200 AED per month for this position, with the possibility of further career progression within the organisation for individuals who demonstrate aptitude and enthusiasm towards their role. We are also willing to consider applicants from overseas for this role.
