Optometrist Vacancy in Doha

We are currently seeking an Optometrist to join our team at our clinic in Doha. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 per month and we are open to considering foreign candidates.

Job Summary:
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including conducting eye exams and diagnosing vision problems. The successful candidate will use advanced techniques and technology to treat patients, as well as provide advice on ocular health and corrective lens solutions.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct eye exams using advanced technology such as retinoscopy, visual field tests, tonometry, etc.
-Diagnose vision problems or abnormalities such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism and presbyopia
-Prescribe appropriate corrective lenses or contact lenses depending on the patient's needs
-Provide advice on ocular health such as nutrition, hygiene and lifestyle habits that can affect vision
-Maintain accurate records of patient information such as test results, diagnoses, treatments prescribed, etc.
-Liaise with other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans for patients with more complex conditions or diseases that affect the eyes.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in optometry from an accredited university/college
-Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with patients at all times
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-Proficient in using computer software applications such as MS Office Suite
