Accountant - Doha, Qatar

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the organization by maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and statements
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Monitor budget expenses
• Create and update monthly financial reports
• Prepare invoices for clients
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
• Develop systems to prevent errors in data entry, calculations, and other activities
• Advise management on financial issues such as tax strategies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) required
• Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
• Proven ability to work quickly under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other accounting software programs (QuickBooks or Peachtree) desired but not required. Experience with foreign currency conversions desirable. We are ready to consider a foreign candidate. No experience necessary.
