Job Description

The Instrument Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical instruments used in industrial processes. They will also diagnose problems, calibrate instruments, prepare documents related to instrumentation activities, inspect systems and equipment regularly, and ensure safety regulations are met. Additionally, the Instrument Technician may be required to provide technical support on projects or troubleshoot complex system issues.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
• Minimum two years' experience as an Instrument Technician or equivalent role
• Proficient with electrical/instrumentation tools
• Knowledge of various instrumentation systems such as PLCs, VFDs, etc.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
