Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance and a passion for accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, reports, analyses, and other financial information as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly and ensure accuracy of all accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable transactions efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements.
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the preparation of financial reports.
• Analyze and report on financial performance as well as trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures, cash flow etc.
• Participate in the budgeting process for the organization.
• Assist with audit preparation by providing necessary information when requested by auditors.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification is a plus but not required.
• 2+ years of professional experience with accounting/bookkeeping duties; preferably within a business or corporate setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent organizational abilities to prioritize tasks effectively; strong communication skills (oral and written) to interact professionally with clients; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented approach; ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or quality of work product; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive information; solid understanding of GAAP principles
