Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain
Salary: 1600 AED per month

We are currently looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including eye examinations, treatments and consultations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as an optometrist
• Knowledgeable in conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems and prescribing eyeglasses/contact lenses
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to use optical equipment, such as retinoscopes, phoropters and autorefractors

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using specialized equipment
• Diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective eyeglasses/contact lenses
• Provide advice on contact lens fitting and wear instructions
• Monitor the progress of vision problems with follow up visits
• Interpret results from diagnostic tests, such as visual field tests or corneal topography
• Educate patients on how to care for their eyes
