Job Title: Land Surveyor (Abu Dhabi)
Salary: 1200 AED

We are looking to hire a Land Surveyor for our Abu Dhabi office. We are ready to consider an immigrant for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and monitor survey plans, drawings, and related documents.
• Collect data using surveying instruments such as total stations, electronic distance measuring devices, levels, and GPS receivers.
• Determine the shape, contour, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features.
• Compile data from surveys in order to create maps and other records.
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
• Record the results of surveys for use in maps or other documents such as property deeds or legal descriptions.
• Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas using theodolites or satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in land surveying/mapping from an accredited university is desired but not mandatory; Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience working with surveying instruments such as total stations, electronic distance measuring devices, levels and GPS receivers.
• Ability to read topographical maps and to interpret legal descriptions of properties.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred but not mandatory. • Knowledgeable about local regulations & surveying techniques applicable to Abu Dhabi area is a must; international experience will be an added bonus.
