They must use safety measures to avoid hazards while using tools and equipment, and must be able to read blueprints and drawings accurately. The Welder may also be required to inspect welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.

The successful candidate should have an eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following instructions carefully.
