We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destination. Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport goods safely and efficiently
- Ensure that goods are loaded correctly and securely onto the truck
- Follow state laws governing the transport of cargo
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the truck before setting off on long trips
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, distances travelled, and any other required documents
- Follow all safety protocols when operating the truck
- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years experience driving a tractor trailer truck
- Experience in loading/unloading cargo from trailers and securing it with straps or chains
- Knowledge of state laws governing the transportation of cargo
- Ability to operate various types of trucks (manual or automatic) with ease
- Physical strength needed for loading/unloading cargo from trailers
