We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in financial operations.

The Accountant will be responsible for performing general accounting activities, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, invoicing and month-end close. This position requires strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities:
• Compile financial data into reports for review by management.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Monitor account balances and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and related analysis.
• Analyze variances in financial results and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Prepare monthly tax returns (VAT) as required by law.
• Develop, maintain & enhance internal control systems for all finance processes & procedures & ensure compliance with corporate policies & procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and other forecasts as necessary.
• Provide guidance to department heads on budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal • Knowledge of local taxation laws is an advantage • Ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines • Willingness to consider immigrants a plus

Salary: 1700 AED/Month
