We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, constructing, and maintaining civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and other public works. The chosen candidate should have knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices as well as a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and overseeing construction of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, and other public works.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and project plans for each project.
• Supervising construction workers during all stages of the project.
• Ensuring that all materials used meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Conducting tests to ensure quality assurance of each project.
• Providing technical advice to any contractors or subcontractors working onsite.
• Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Submitting reports on the progress of each project to management.
• Developing solutions for any problems that occur during the course of the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
• At least 2 years’ experience working on civil engineering projects in a professional setting
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations in the UAE area
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
