Optometrist Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including clinical and diagnostic evaluations, contact lens fittings, and eyeglass prescriptions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients of all ages. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200 KWD per month, with the potential for additional bonuses. We are open to considering foreign candidates who meet the required qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Perform contact lens fittings
• Evaluate ocular health and diagnose vision problems
• Develop eyeglass prescriptions and discuss lens options
• Keep accurate records of patient evaluations and treatments
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals when necessary

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or related field
• Valid optometric license in Al-Kuwait (for foreign candidates)
• Minimum two years’ work experience as an optometrist preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages
• Knowledgeable about latest technologies related to eye care
