Cashier job vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for unskilled workers


We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Al-Kuwait. You will be responsible for handling all cash transactions for our customers in a quick and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a cashier in a retail environment, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle payments accurately. We are also looking for someone who is open-minded and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:
• Receive payments from customers
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Answer customers’ questions, and provide information on procedures or policies
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales or services offered
• Monitor all transactions accurately and ensure that all funds from the cash drawer match the receipts
• Bag items securely

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional qualifications preferred
• At least one year of experience as a cashier in a retail environment preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Salary: 1200 per month
