Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled workers


We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library and providing library services to staff and students.

The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of a variety of book genres, knowledge of library policies and procedures, excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills. They must have experience in cataloguing, classification, circulation and other library services. In addition, they must have the technical skills required to operate the library cataloguing software.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They must also be able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines with accuracy. The Librarian will be expected to provide training for staff and students on how to use the library’s resources as well as developing library policy and procedures.
