Waiter vacancy in Doha Qatar

Waiter, Doha, Qatar - Pakistani/Egyptian Nationality Preferred

We are looking for a Waiter to join our restaurant team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must have experience in the hospitality industry and be able to work in an international environment. English language skills are a must for this position. This is a temporary position with no accommodation provided and the candidate must possess their own visa. This position is suitable only for men.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to quickly learn our menu items and methods of preparation. Ultimately, you will ensure that all guests receive an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they arrive and present them with a menu
• Take accurate orders from guests and enter them into the POS system accurately
• Inform customers of daily specials
• Serve food and beverages as requested by customers
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables as needed
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries or complaints in a polite manner
• Ensure all tables are clean and adequately set up before guests arrive
• Assist other restaurant staff members when needed
• Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
• Prepare bills for customers’ orders

Requirements: • Previous experience as a Waiter in the hospitality industry • Excellent knowledge of food safety standards • Proficient English communication skills (verbal & written) • High level of customer service orientation • Ability to work well under pressure • Pakistani or Egyptian nationality preferred but not essential
