Auto Electrician

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Auto Electrician you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical systems on vehicles. This includes diagnosing issues related to wiring harnesses and electrical components as well as performing tests on vehicle systems such as lighting systems, battery systems, starting systems, and charging circuits. You will also inspect vehicles for compliance with laws related to safety features such as airbags or anti-lock brakes. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate records of all repairs performed on vehicles.

Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have at least two years experience working as an auto electrician in a professional setting as well as possessing strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate must also possess knowledge of electrical schematics and diagrams along with strong manual dexterity skills for connecting wires or soldering connections. Additionally it is important that the candidate has a valid driver’s license since they may need to travel between customer locations while servicing vehicles.
