Optometrist job vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait


We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including eye exams, contact lens fittings and prescription of eyeglasses. The Optometrist will also be responsible for screening for various eye diseases and making referrals as needed.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid optometry license and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field. We are open to considering foreign candidates with no experience. The salary is 1500 per month.

Job duties include:
• Conducting comprehensive eye exams using specialized diagnostic equipment such as refractometers, lensometers, ophthalmoscopes, etc.
• Prescribing corrective lenses after conducting tests to determine the correct prescription strength
• Diagnosing and treating various ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration etc.
• Providing patient education on proper eye care and health maintenance
• Ordering necessary diagnostic tests or referring patients to specialists as needed
