Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid treatments to patients suffering from illness or injury
- Assist with the transportation of patients to medical facilities when necessary
- Observe vital signs such as pulse rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, temperature etc.
- Monitor patient’s condition during transport and document changes accordingly
- Respond quickly to emergency situations by assessing the patient’s condition and providing appropriate medical care or treatment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, protocols, standards of practice etc.
