Job Title: Carpenter - Riyadh

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Salary: 900 SAR/month

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate must be able to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. He/she must have a good eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are willing to consider a foreigner for the position.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, such as plywood and hardboard.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, stairs and cupboards.
- Measure, cut, shape and fit materials accurately using hand tools such as saws, chisels and planes.
- Construct building frameworks including walls by using wood or other materials.
- Assemble furniture or similar items using appropriate tools; finishing them with veneer or laminate surfaces if required.
- Sand down surfaces to create a smooth finish prior to painting or varnishing.
- Repair furniture or other wooden structures when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter is essential; at least 5 years of experience in the field preferred.
- Able to read blueprints or technical diagrams; knowledge of mathematics is important for this role. - Experience working with power tools is essential (e.g., saws). - Ability to use hand tools such as chisels accurately is important. - Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; strong problem solving skills are necessary in this role too. - Good communication skills are also necessary in order to take direction from the foreman/supervisor onsite when needed; understanding of English language is essential for this role too (foreigners considered).
