Position Title: Dental Assistant
Location: Sharjah, UA
Salary: 1700 AED / Month
Job Description:
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to the dentist during patient appointments and for assisting with administrative tasks in the office. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide chair-side assistance to dentist during dental procedures, including patient preparation and post-treatment instructions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as required.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments prior to patient appointments.
• Maintain inventory of all supplies and equipment in the office.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, etc.
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Working knowledge of oral anatomy and dental terminology is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff members alike.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
