Optometrist – Bani Yas City

We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Bani Yas City. The ideal candidate must be experienced and knowledgeable in general optometry, as well as have a valid optometry license for the United Arab Emirates.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and contact lens fittings
• Provide comprehensive patient education about optical health and vision care
• Diagnose vision problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and eye diseases, such as glaucoma
• Interpret test results, diagnose conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses
• Purchase frames and lenses and fit them to the patient’s face
• Advise patients about potential risks or complications associated with eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Monitor patients’ conditions during post-operative periods

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Optometrist in the UAE or other countries is preferred
• Valid optometry license for the United Arab Emirates is required
• Knowledgeable of basic medical terminology
• Outstanding ability to communicate effectively with patients

Salary: 1600 AED per month. We are open to considering foreigners for this role.
