Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent field is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Mechanic.
• Professional certification in Automotive Technology is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Job Description:

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and other motorized equipment in accordance with established policies, practices, procedures, safety regulations, environmental standards, and manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills and have knowledge of electrical & electronic diagnostic equipment as well as an understanding of technical service manuals & schematics. The Mechanic will report to the head of the division on all maintenance activities performed on vehicles & equipment in accordance with applicable laws & regulations while ensuring quality standards are met during service operations. The main responsibilities would include diagnosing vehicle faults & performing repairs; providing timely feedback to customers regarding the status of repairs; maintaining accurate service records; checking vehicle performance & safety levels; performing preventive maintenance services such as oil changes & brake repairs; inspecting vehicle components (tires/engines/bodies); replacing worn or defective parts; keeping up to date with automotive technologies & industry trends; evaluating customer complaints; and participating in continuous learning courses as required by company policies.
