Job Description:
• Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, and other baked goods such as cakes, cookies, tarts, pies, etc.
• Follow recipes while using the freshest ingredients possible to ensure quality products are served every time.
• Monitor the quality of ingredients used in preparation and ensure optimal freshness is maintained.
• Ensure that all food items are stored properly according to health department regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols while using kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, etc., as well as when handling food items.

Required Qualifications:
• Degree/diploma from a recognized culinary institution or equivalent experience in similar role preferred. • At least two years of pastry chef experience or three years’ experience in a related role is essential. • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality in both taste and presentation is necessary. • Knowledgeable about different types of desserts/pastries and baking techniques is preferred. • High level of creativity when it comes to developing new recipes or tweaking existing ones is desirable. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once is essential
