Electrician – Doha

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position that offers an attractive salary of 1000QAR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants.

Job Description:
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties, including wiring, switchboards, circuits, transformers etc.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the malfunction
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to identify the location of wiring or equipment
• Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or oscilloscopes
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors
• Inspect safety codes on electrical installations ensuring that they meet current regulations
• Answer maintenance requests from clients in a timely manner

Requirements for Candidate:
• Proven experience as an electrician is preferred but not required; we are open to considering applicants with no prior experience.
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required; those without one should have relevant certifications/training.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings is essential.
• Excellent problem solving and organization skills are a must.
