We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The role requires a person with strong interpersonal skills and excellent skills in providing optometry services. They should be able to provide accurate diagnosis and treatments, and ascertain patients’ vision needs.

The ideal candidate should also possess knowledge in contact lenses, eyeglasses, and optical aids. They should have excellent communication skills to converse with clients and explain treatments necessary for their eye health.

The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, assessing patient vision needs, diagnosing or referring patients to other medical professionals as needed, prescribing corrective lenses or glasses, educating patients about their vision care needs, providing advice on contact lenses care and use as well as recommending preventive measures for eye health care. Furthermore they will need to keep accurate records of treatment plans and examinations results so that the patient can review them in the future.

Experience is not essential however knowledge of ophthalmological techniques is essential along with a degree in optometry or related field of study. We are also open to considering foreigners for this role who have the relevant qualifications and experience. The salary offered for this position is 1800 per month.
