Optometrist - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of optometry experience and be willing to work in the area. We will consider foreign applicants.

The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision testing and diagnosis of eye diseases and disorders. You will also prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses as needed to help patients achieve optimal vision health.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, color vision assessment, and depth perception tests
• Examine eyes for common signs of disease or disorder using high-powered lenses and other specialized equipment
• Diagnose various eye conditions or diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, or macular degeneration
• Prescribe corrective lenses to patients based on their needs
• Counsel patients on proper lens maintenance and usage
• Advise patients on contact lens fitting and care
• Provide referrals for medical attention when necessary

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or related field plus two years of optometry experience minimum
• Ability to use specialized equipment for examination purposes
• Ability to interpret vision test results accurately
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients quickly

Salary: 1200 per month
