Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for performing installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment. You will also be responsible for inspecting, testing and adjusting equipment to ensure that it is in optimal working condition. In addition, you will be expected to troubleshoot issues and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment. We are offering a competitive salary of 1500 which we are willing to consider for an immigrant depending on their qualifications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Install new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment as needed
- Inspect, test and adjust equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition
- Read technical manuals, schematics and diagrams as necessary
- Provide guidance and assistance to other technicians when requested
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when working with machinery and equipment
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to the use of machinery and equipment
- Report any malfunctions or defects in machinery or equipment to supervisor immediately

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience as a Fitter or similar role required; minimal work experience may be considered depending on qualifications of the candidate
- Knowledge of installation, repair, operation maintenance of mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal & written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
