Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Salary: 1600 AED per month

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design and construction of civil engineering projects. The successful applicant must have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are willing to consider a foreign national for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Designing and constructing bridges, dams, roads, tunnels and other structures.
• Estimating project costs and timelines.
• Analyzing survey reports, maps and other data.
• Investigating potential sites for development projects.
• Developing plans for access roads, sewers, water systems and bridges/tunnelling structures.
• Preparing technical reports and presenting findings on project progress or issues to management.
• Overseeing construction of structures onsite to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the industry as a Civil Engineer or similar role.
• Understanding of engineering principles such as structural mechanics, hydrology, geotechnical engineering etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to use logic to address complex issues effectively.
