Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Thorough understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Excellent understanding of carpentry materials, such as wood, plywood, etc.
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
• Measure and cut materials accurately according to specifications
• Assemble furniture or other structures using nails, screws, staples or adhesives where necessary
• Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets or shelves
• Repair wooden furniture pieces by replacing defective parts or stabilizing joints
• Inspect workstations for defects in order to ensure safety standards are met
