Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. This includes conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and referring patients to ophthalmologists for medical treatment.

The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced Optometrist with a passion for providing excellent patient care. They should have exceptional communication skills and enjoy working with people of all ages. They must also have experience in using the latest optometric equipment.

Responsibilities
• Conducting comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, color vision tests, and more
• Diagnosing and treating vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia and other common conditions
• Prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses as necessary
• Referring patients to ophthalmologists for medical treatment of serious eye diseases or conditions
• Educating patients about proper eye care techniques
• Maintaining accurate patient records

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• Licensed Optometrist in Al-Kuwait (or eligible to obtain)
• Experience working in an optometry clinic or similar setting is preferred but not required

Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1700 per month and other benefits including health insurance coverage and vacation time. We are also open to hiring foreign applicants who are eligible for work permits in Al-Kuwait.
