Job Overview:
The Florist will be responsible for arranging flowers in a variety of shapes, colors, sizes, and styles that are aesthetically pleasing. You will also be responsible for creating displays that enhance the beauty of the flower arrangements. The Florist must also ensure that all floral arrangements meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Arrange flowers into attractive bouquets according to customer requests or company standards
• Create tasteful displays with flowers in public areas or venues such as hotels or restaurants
• Monitor inventory levels of fresh flowers ensuring availability at all times
• Work with customers to design custom floral arrangements based on their needs and preferences
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a professional florist
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
